Founded by Miguel Ortega, a licensed geologist with more than 35 years of experience in environmental assessment and remediation, GO Spectrum offers clients the advantages of using a small firm, such as low overhead, flexibility, and a steadfast focus on client needs without compromising technical skill and industry know-how.
Over the past ten years, GO Spectrum’s staff has completed more than 1,000 environmental investigations, hazardous material abatement projects, and construction management projects throughout the Pacific Northwest.
GO Spectrum has served clients in the key industries that drive much of this region’s growth and development, including Federal, State, and local government, healthcare, education, commercial, and industrial.
With a solid background in remedial investigation and feasibility studies for all types of vacant and developed properties, our staff manages the entire process of different kinds of projects from initial analysis through mitigation, design, and implementation.
Meet Our Key Staff
Miguel Ortega, LG
Miguel Ortega has more than 35 years of experience in groundwater geology, environmental due diligence, and project management in the field of environmental assessment and remediation. He has been with GO Spectrum NW (Spectrum) since 2015 and has managed more than a hundred Phase I and II ESAs, UST closure, and remediation projects.
Senior Project Manager
Jim O’Malley offers more than 35 years of experience in all facets of public and private commercial contracting and construction management including environmental remediation of asbestos, lead paints and other regulated hazardous materials. He has managed hundreds of hazardous materials and public construction projects.
Chief Financial Officer
Heather Ortega has more than 25 years of experience in corporate ﬁnance. Heather is responsible for financial reporting, project expense tracking, and all aspects of the accounting process. She also serves as liaison with our banking partners, tax consultants, and other specialists in order to manage the operational financing for the company.
